I liked Rocky IV the best. The first Rocky was a very unique film, but I feel the fourth one with the Russian got the training scenes and big fight scenes captured better than any other of the saga.

i definitely think rocky IV was the best because of the determination of rocky and it
showed how much of a champ he was |

i say number three and four were the best films for different reasons,
four because you can see more of a change in rockys physical apperance, it shows the different aspect of training that he had to focus on ; ie strength. three because he trains a different way than he is used to and does it well when he realises what was wrong in his head, i myself am a martial artist and i can say from my own experience its very difficult to be used to one style of training and then move onto another, because your always like "well thats not how ive always done it" durr! thats why we is training differently! to be honest, all of the rocky fims have had diffent reasons why what happend happend and considering how old the films are i think its a great dipiction of mind, body and strength condition for diffent reasons in your life |

Moviepropattitude I like the 4th the best in part because I have Ivan Drago's boxing shorts, and a Dolph Lundgren He-Man screen used rifle from Masters of the Universe. I always like movies and actors more when I have things from them.

That's awesome. I would not mind having the hat that screen used has in their private collection. I also like the coat rocky wears with the tiger in back of it. the whole plot of number 4 was awesome because no one thought he could beat the huge russian..not even his wife, but something about this quote where he says something about (He will have to have the heart to beat me in order to win, etc)was the best part for me .The music playing while he was driving the car fit great with what was going on at the time.

I just saw the first four Rocky movies in one day a few months back. Never a big fan of the fifth one. I did like the new one also.
In Rocky IV he says something like he has to be willing to die to win. Classic stuff. |

The most recent one was very good. the 5th was not as good, but i still liked them all. Some people think the films are just about boxing, but there is a lot of great lessons to learn from wacthing the films rather then just boxing.
