This is a post to discuss desirable science fiction movie guns.
Feel free to say why you think a given weapon or weapons is desirable. Also feel free to denote any known replicas by maker, general time period, and original selling price. This is for reference purposes to aid in authenticating the originals.

One of my Holy Grails is a pistol from Forbidden Planet. This movie is one of my all-time favorites and a giant leap forward for Sci-Fi movies.

The Forbidden Planet gun definately has a retro ray gun and Buck Rogers type mystique to it. On the other hand I wonder if any screen used versions of this weapon remain in existance anywhere. There are some nice replicas out there though at least.
